Emma Barker

Manager of HR

Emma has an honours degree in Law & Management and is a fellow member of the CIPD with over 20 years HR experience in various sectors including subsea and renewables, higher education and private equity owned businesses.  

Emma is a pragmatic solution focused individual who has a wide understanding of training and development, succession planning, job evaluation, IiP, HR software development and implementation, competency development and business planning.


Gillian Tierney

Manager of HR

Starting her career as an HR Advisor for a major University, Gillian now has over 15 years’ HR experience within the oil and gas industry and private equity owned businesses. 

With a general business degree (Hons) and MSc in HR Management, combined with a personal approach that adapts to a diverse client base, Gillian likes to solve problems with fit for purpose solutions specific to client requirements. 


Donna Gibb

HR Director

Donna has recently joined the team of Involve HR.  A chartered fellow of the CIPD with an LLM in employment law, she has 25 years’ experience of delivering HR solutions to clients. 

Donna is accustomed to leading the design, development and implementation of appropriate people strategies, policies and procedures within the framework of the relevant business context. As an accomplished consultant, she has applied her two decades of experience and knowledge to the design and delivery of HR advisory and consultancy services.


Catriona Spendlicek

Operations Manager

With almost 15 years of experience, including 11 years as an HR Consultant, an Associate member of the CIPD with an MSc in Human Resource Management, Catriona excels in providing customer-focused, comprehensive, and pragmatic HR advice and support across various sectors.  

Her extensive tenure has provided her with a deep insight into employment legislation and its impact on the world of work.  In her role as Operations Manager, Catriona oversees project work, develops and maintains client relationships, and provides valuable support in business and organisational development. She is dedicated to giving back to the HR community by actively mentoring and supporting her team in their career development journey.


Tamar Minty

Team Lead

With a career spanning over 20 years, Tamar is an experienced HR professional, who specialises in managing complex employee relations cases, as well as implementing Change Management, and developing HR policies and procedures. 

Tamar provides pragmatic support to our clients consistently providing effective solutions and fostering positive workplace environments. She is able to work with our clients to ensure that their HR strategy is fully aligned to meet the mission, aims and values of the organisation as well as ensuring adherence to the latest employment law regulations.


Carol Munro

Senior HR Consultant

Carol joined Involve HR in 2024 bringing a wealth of experience following an extensive HR career spanning a number of decades.   

After leaving a Senior HR position in Oil and Gas in April 2023, Carol decided to join Involve HR, to support us in growing our consultancy portfolio.   


Emma Skinner

HR Advisor

Emma has 10 years of HR experience in the Financial Services sector, progressing from HR Coordinator to HR Services Team Lead. She has navigated organisational changes, demonstrating a passion for employee relations and change management.

Emma strives to counter the negative perception of HR, highlighting support for those she works with. In her role with the Involve HR team, she is dedicated to developing and maintaining client relationships by offering tailored support and solutions that meet individual business needs.  Emma enjoys helping people and strives to make a positive impact, bringing enthusiasm and dedication to create meaningful differences in the workplace.


Mhairi McGregor

HR Advisor

With 9 years of HR experience working across multiple sectors including the Public and Financial Services Sectors.  .

Following completion of her Masters in HR, Mhairi started her career in the public sector, gaining a vast knowledge of HR policies and process. Since then, Mhairi has gained experience in organisational change, all aspects of HR activity around the employee life cycle and employee relations. Mhairi with her enthusiasm and passion, aims to develop and maintain strong client relationships, whilst bringing support and solutions that meet client’s individual business needs.


Georgina Reynolds

HR Advisor

Georgina comes to Involve HR with over 8 years of experience, predominantly within the Oil and Gas and manufacturing industries, and is an associate member of the CIPD. She has a varied range of experience across all aspects of HR and the employee lifecycle, and she is particularly passionate when it comes to employee relations and absence management.

Georgina brings a can-do attitude to all that she does and enjoys taking on project work, including HRIS implementation projects, and is always striving to develop her knowledge and skills.
